JAGMOHAN DALMIYA : THE SUPER SELECTOR

Cricket is a game,
Of name and fame,
Sometimes different,
Sometimes same,
Many have gone and
Many have came,
Do not forget
The Dalmiya’s name,
He stays always in the game,
Keeps looking for gain and gain,
Without any pain and
Without any shame,
He takes things as they came,
Here we blame, without any flame
Dalmiya's mind and dirty brain.
But you know its part of game.

There is this one person who has not yet been forgotten and will never be forgotten too, in the Indian Cricketing Scenario. Probably only because of the true fact that the person does not and will not ever let anyone forget himself with that ease. The person we are talking about on here is none other than the Super Selector Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya. He was the Secretary and President of BCCI and now tries to become the Patron-in-chief by the effect of making amendments in the board rules. Not from the willingness of the cricket lovers of the country, earlier he declared himself as the patron-in-chief of the board, which was challenged in court, then supreme court of India has restrained Dalmiya from becoming the Patron-in-Chief of the Cricket Board as per the existing by-law of board. Now they are trying to change the by-law to make the provision for patron-in-chief of board for life for Dalmiya and the voting will be held on the 30th of this Month on this regard, which should be openly viewable to the people of the nation as per the order of Supreme Court of India.

This super selector has made many teams and has spoilt many too, the player has to worship him or get out of the team, many careers have been made and many spoilt, many have been made as children and many have been boiled. To name some of the milestones of the super selector, Ganguly being one of them, Dalmiya has given the cricketing world many many gems and pearls and diamonds, which only he can identify to be it. The other jewelers? Well they dont know anything, they call Diamond a stone? The rest of cricketers are not gem for him, for example Rajesh Dubey is a better cricketer than Dalmiya, come to any ground, any pitch of the world to confirm the selection, not in team, but in board. But Well, Super Selector finds the raremost stones only he can identify as the gem.

And super selector Dalmiya, as a person is also really colorful, when you go to his parties, well, wow is the only word that comes out, probably because he has become the cricketing icon of the nation, not because of cricket, but the wicket, to be very frank, which player will defend the wicket and who will pull it off, all is decided by the super selector. In Real life as well as cricket, also the Super Selector is the soul patron of cricketing rights and television rights and anything like that, why? because he has the RIGHT to do so. Although he has never ever hold a bat, but the bat's grip man or the batsman is always decided by him.

Who said that being a cricketer requires the skill of cricket? Well the basic steps of being a good cricketer are, one, go to Dalmiyas office, two, Settle up Dalmiya, three, serve Dalmiya, four, you are a cricketer, therefore we are calling Dalmiya a super selector God of Cricket, not just an ordinary selector, Whats a selector? Rubbish talk, A super selector is the actual one who actually selects selectors, cricketers and everything else, never can be removed from the board and can never be even touched, to be short a dictator of his own terms in the BCCI. And whoever is blessed by the Super Selector cannot even be touched by others, why is the Indian captain blaming and fighting the coach in front of the media? Reason is simple, nobody can do anything, because of the hand of Dalmiya on the forehead of the Captain.

When people say that Dalmiya doesnt know about cricket, because he hasn’t even ever holded a bat, I would like to ask, has any jeweller ever mined a gem? No. That is about Dalmiya, what if he doesn’t know about Cricket, What if he doesn’t know about it, what if he never knew the rules and what if he has never holded a bat? He is a super selector! If you can count Ganguly as a cricketer when he doesn’t know about it, Dalmiya is in a better position.

The super selector is the only selector who works on duty and off duty, on duty he decides fates, blesses cricketers, forwards them makes them play, appoints batsmen as bowlers and bowlers as batsmen, eats around, gossips and off duty he strengthens his works. For example, at a cricketer's interview on a Channel, Mr. Dalmiya began flattering him and calling him great, well why not? Previous debts were unpaid. Some money hadn’t been utilized, so Dalmiya did this.

Dalmiya believes in quality and heart touching services, not by his side but from the other one, of what kind? Well contact Dalmiya for that. This super selector has really made many teams and also spoiled a lot of them, when any player tries to get along Dalmiya without Co-operating, BAM comes a reason and the players are dismissed, whoever they may be, the list is very long and the super selector's superiority among the Indian Cricket scenario can be seen from it, but I am not in position to give it currently

Mr Dalmiya has now become a name in the Indian and International cricket scene that has to be taken with a LOT of respect or else Mr. Dalmiya wont give you respect, which will definitely result in you being extinct, from cricket. Therefore respect Dalmiya if associated with Indian Cricket, because this is one guy who sticks to the spot when all are on pot.

When Mr. Dalmiya needs to show his greatness, he tries out different tricks of the trade, for instance, when recently the elections were done and Mr. Dalmiya was supposed to not fight for them, he came in and made a spot of Patron, Elections are a formality for him because he can vote 2, 4, 6 and 10 times, it doesn’t matter how many times he wants to vote. He can matter as many times as he can. After all he is the super selector and has the birthright as a super selector to do whatever he likes in the BCCI. No problems for him. If he had the right to Super Select his mother and father, definitely they would have to first serve him then giving him birth, whatever that may mean

And of course, if Dalmiya can be brought into the Indian Politics and can be made a prime minister, in no time we would be seeing in newspapers and our children will be writing in their textbooks - "Our country's Patron is Jagmohan Dalmiya". Yes the Patron, A patron is one who has the right to practice any existing or non existing norm anywhere in the Penal code of anything as long as the stage is under him. Who cares about cricket? Drink money and eat money, afterall money is life!?

As the concluding paragraph arrives, I would ike to say that Mr. Dalmiya is the best Cricketer of the country all time. Because he is the selector, he is the captain he is the matter maker he is the matter spoiler, he is right seller, he is the patron and everything else that you can say about him. The BCCI is the richest Cricket Control board of the world and therefore Dalmiya finds no obvious reason to stop leeching it. Whenever the Dalmiya team goes in the name of the Indian team on a foreign tour or plays a series, the news come "India lost" well, we must say that Dalmiya's team lost. If this is cleared than the people of the country will not be hurt, that it is Dalmiya team or Indian team, because if India loses then it is grief, if Dalmiya loses, it is joy, may it bae a match or election.....err.... rejection.

Therefore my advice to all the aspiring cricketers, that worship Dalmiya because he is the main super selector of the whole country who can get your cricketing boat to the streamside, if he cannot, nobody can and if you think of boycotting him, he will just resign from the patron! You will be happy for a while till he becomes a senior patron or anything like that, therefore Dalmiya is invincible. Or if people want to win over this corruption of Dalmiya, then they should make the Selector realize that Super Selecting Days are over and therefore Dalmiya, leave cricket while it is still alive and running. The people need you not, they need cricket to be alive. And if you go on to be the patron of cricket, one day the sport will be ashamed of itself that you were once its patron.
