Now, all of us have heard about Spirituality, right? But most of us just simply can’t figure out how to begin with it. Firstly lets look at the elite definition of the attainment of complete Spirituality.

“Remove the elements of Sexual Desires, Anger, Greed, Affection and Ego from your life and devote yourself to discovering more and more of the inner self”

A slightly big sentence to be precise, seems easy enough, remove this stuff and discover the inner self. “Oh how easy” one thinks, I’ll just not think sexually, wont do anger, no greed, delete the affection and overcome ego! Inner Self is my own self, and its not that hard to know that!

Hmm! Interesting isn’t it. Spirituality isn’t as simple as it sounds, and you know that once you start with it. A common person has the initial thought “But… how to do this?”. That’s the real thing, people don’t know where to start, and even if they do, they don’t know how to continue on with it, so today, I’ll try to explain to all of you reader folk that how Spiritualization isn’t too hard, just need to sort stuff out properly.

To begin with, we need to fine-tune our mind to be in compatibility with spirituality. Just like we install drivers, so that a particular program can run on our computer. Here the Computer is your brain, the software to be installed is Spirituality and your Brain has all the outdated drivers. So we need to upgrade it first, how to do it? Read on.

Starting off, firstly get rid of any solvable tensions you have, we should do what we can to clear off the clutter at least! Then, take a break and go to a soothing, calm and quiet place, all on your own, a few suggestions can be a scenic landscape, some country resorts, or maybe an adventureous expedition to some place you find calm and quiet. Okay, now how will this help me? You’ll ask, well, once you get a change in your surroundings (which are almost always not in good terms with spiritual practice, in almost all Spirituality aspirers) your mind freshens up to the bounty of nature and finds the kind of peace it needs to start off the spiritual practices.

Now, most of the people here will tell you not to think about your life, but I insist you do, which is because, if you dont think about your life and the problems associated to it at this point of time, they might come back to haunt you in a later, advanced stage of spirituality, losing balance from which will cost you much, because, EACH advancement in the field of Spirituality is a BIG step forward, I have seen people following the “Who cares” attitude to step into spirituality, they succeeded for a few steps, but afterwards they fell to the wrath of their worldly problems and irritations. So better to think about all that beforehand, say your sorries to those who deserve it, obey your duties in advance for the spirituality period and confess your wrong doings in your holy place. (Temple, Church or a Mosque, whatever religion you are from)

A healthy tip at this point of time would be to actually repent for the major sins you have done, if you have hurt someone in the past and feel sorry for it now, go and tell them you were really sorry, if you are in bad terms with someone, tell them you dont want to know what they think of you, but you have forgiven them, and you expect that they forgive you as well. This stuff is really not too complicated you see.

I had a friend, his name was Mike, he was an online friend and we usually met through the MSN messenger platform, I remember him saying that everyday he thinks about this Neigbour he had a heated argument with, and that seemed to have been giving him some mental tensions. I gave him an advice, to forgive that guy in his mind and ask for his forgiveness as well, to his surprise, the neigbour actually hugged him when he said his sorries, so you know what, this really works. This little “I’m sorry dude” thing saved him from (1) Mental Tension (2) Stress (3) Irritation and Frustration (4) Unnecessary Anger (5) A LOT of time wasted in thinking about the incident.

Spirituality comes easy, but you gotta easy out yourself as well. If you did something you think you could no longer repent for (the affected person moved away, died or something like that) then there are several get-arounds to this as well, go to an orphanage or a school of the physically incapable, donate stuff to them, make them feel good and happy. Their smiles will be all that you require to repent for what you did.

So there, you have fully eased out, now no bad clusters affecting your hard drive I believe! Lets move on to the next step, which is calming out. You have done about 75% of this through the whole repenting procedure, now the remaining 25%, you can do by being in the quiet and calm place we talked about before. Stay in that place for as long as you think you aren’t calm enough. This varies person to person, some people get calmed up in one day and some take a few years, but it is all damn normal, so don’t worry if you take too much time, the road to Spirituality is easy, but it also tests your patience.

A Little test on yourself would tell you whether you are fully calmed or not, try closing your eyes and thinking about a figure, figure as in a structure, lets take the structure of a Zero for an instance, oval shaped and hollow, think about it, keep thinking until you don’t get distracted. Distraction can be a thought like “I wonder how much time has passed” or maybe “I am getting bored…”. If you have been in a thoughtful posture for around 15 minutes, consider yourself ready for the next step!
